Our Senior School Sports Day took place today at the Xcel Walton and was a fantastic celebration of athleticism, determination and House spirit, with students giving their all in a full programme of track and field events.
Throughout the day, competitors took on everything from the explosive 100m sprint to the demanding 400m race, while others showcased their strength and technique in the javelin, shot put and discus competitions. The relay races were a particular highlight for all, with each House cheering on their teammates in a thrilling display of teamwork and encouragement.
The excitement continued beyond the student events, as staff took to the track for their own races before facing off against students in the highly anticipated students vs staff relays. The crowd-favourite events brought plenty of laughter and friendly rivalry, adding to the wonderful atmosphere of the day.
With outstanding performances, incredible sportsmanship and enthusiastic support from every House, Sports Day was a memorable occasion for the whole school.
