There is plenty to celebrate as we start the new academic year, with our 2026 GCSE and A Level results showing an increase across all key measures.
At GCSE, 23% of grades were awarded at Grade 9, 43% at Grades 9–8 and 62% at Grades 9–7. Our Sixth Form students also achieved excellent results, with 18% of grades at A*, 49% at A*–A and 76% at A*–B. Particularly pleasing was the fact that 100% of grades in Biology, Further Mathematics, English Literature, History, Photography and Drama were A*–B, while more than a quarter of students achieved A*–A grades across the board.
Behind every one of these results is a huge amount of hard work, encouragement and support from our staff.
From inspiring students in the classroom to the countless conversations, interventions, revision sessions and pastoral support along the way, these results are a reflection of the commitment our staff show to knowing and supporting every student as an individual.
A huge thank you to everyone who played a part in helping our students achieve such fantastic results. It’s a brilliant way to start the new academic year – and one we should all be very proud of.
