At Hampton Court House, we are proud that our innovative approach to education, commitment to sustainability, and dedication to preparing young people for life beyond the classroom have been recognised by leading educational organisations and accreditation bodies.
These awards and accreditations reflect the passion and expertise of our staff, the enthusiasm and achievements of our students, and the strength of our wider school community. They provide external recognition of the values that underpin everything we do and inspire us to continue delivering an exceptional educational experience.
Harmony Project Accreditation
Hampton Court House is proud to hold Harmony Project Accreditation and to be the first independent school in the United Kingdom to achieve this distinction.
Based on principles championed by His Majesty King Charles III, the Harmony approach encourages children to understand the interconnectedness of the natural world and their place within it. These principles are embedded throughout our Prep curriculum, helping pupils develop a deep appreciation of balance, sustainability and responsible citizenship.
Rather than treating sustainability as a standalone topic, Harmony is woven throughout learning across subjects including science, mathematics, humanities and the arts. This cross-curricular approach enables pupils to make meaningful connections between disciplines, think critically about the world around them and apply their learning in authentic contexts.
This accreditation recognises our long-term commitment to creating a curriculum that prepares young people not only for academic success, but also for thoughtful and responsible participation in an increasingly complex world.
Finalist: London Independent School of the Year
Hampton Court House was delighted to be named a finalist for London Independent School of the Year in 2025, having been shortlisted for the award for two consecutive years.
This recognition reflects the distinctive educational experience we offer, combining academic ambition with creativity, curiosity and personal development. Our ethos of purposeful informality fosters strong relationships, intellectual confidence and a genuine love of learning.
The award also celebrates the strength of our community: students who are engaged and ambitious, teachers who inspire and challenge, and families who actively support and enrich school life.
Winner: Talk Education Innovation in Education Award: Support for Life Beyond School
Hampton Court House was honoured to win the national Talk Education Innovation in Education Award for Support for Life Beyond School in 2025.
The award recognises the success of our innovative Prepared for Life Sixth Form programme, which equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to thrive beyond education. Alongside academic study, students engage with a broad programme focused on leadership, wellbeing, cultural literacy, physical health, community engagement and personal development.
In recognising the programme, the judges commented:
“We are really impressed by your Prepared for Life Sixth Form initiative, and the ways in which the programme helps equip pupils with the skills needed to thrive in the real world.”
This award reflects our belief that education should prepare young people not only for examinations and university, but for meaningful, successful and fulfilling lives.
Winner: Education Choices Award: Developing Student Voice
Hampton Court House was proud to be named the winner of the Education Choices Award for Developing Student Voice in the Senior Schools category.
At the heart of our educational philosophy is the belief that students should be active participants in shaping their learning experience and school community. We create meaningful opportunities for students to share their perspectives, contribute ideas and take leadership roles, ensuring that every voice is valued and heard.
This award recognises the culture of trust, collaboration and mutual respect that enables our students to develop confidence, independence and a strong sense of responsibility.
Finalist: Education Choices Award: Opportunities in Art and Music
We were also honoured to be named finalists in the Education Choices Award category for Opportunities in Art and Music.
This recognition reflects our commitment to ensuring that creativity sits at the heart of a Hampton Court House education. Through a rich programme of visual arts, music, drama and performance, students are encouraged to explore their talents, express themselves with confidence and develop a lifelong appreciation of the arts.
The award celebrates the vibrant creative culture that exists across the school and the dedication of our staff in providing exceptional opportunities for artistic growth and achievement.
Eco-Schools Green Flag with Distinction
We are proud to have been awarded the Eco-Schools Green Flag with Distinction, an internationally recognised accreditation celebrating excellence in environmental action and sustainability.
The award recognises the significant contribution of our students, who work alongside staff through the school’s Eco-Committee to identify priorities, develop action plans and lead meaningful environmental initiatives. From promoting biodiversity and reducing waste to encouraging sustainable habits across the school community, students play an active role in driving positive change.
Receiving the Green Flag with Distinction reflects both our achievements to date and our ongoing commitment to embedding environmental responsibility throughout school life.
