Futures Fair Inspires Students to Explore Their Next Steps

Posted: 6th June 2026

Hampton Court House proudly hosted its highly successful Futures Fair, bringing together an inspiring range of professionals, universities, training providers and industry experts to help students explore the exciting opportunities available beyond school.

Designed for our Year 9, 10 and 12 students, the event provided invaluable insight into a wide variety of future pathways, encouraging students to think ambitiously about their aspirations and gain a deeper understanding of the many routes into higher education and employment. We were also delighted to welcome pupils from Radnor House, creating a vibrant and collaborative atmosphere throughout the day.

The event was opened by Dukes Education CEO Tim Fish, whose address set the tone for a day focused on curiosity, ambition and future possibilities. We are incredibly grateful to all of our exhibitors and guest speakers who generously shared their expertise and experiences, including many members of our parent community whose continued support enriches the opportunities available to our students.

Students had the opportunity to speak with representatives from a range of higher education institutions and organisations, including The School of Journalism, Surrey University, Lancaster University, West Dean, Hult International Business School, Transport for London and InvestIN. The breadth of sectors represented was equally impressive, spanning local government, engineering, publishing, charity, creative advertising, education, technology, finance, fashion and the arts.

A particular highlight of the day was hearing from professionals who had followed a variety of routes into their careers, including graduate programmes and degree apprenticeships. Students also benefited from the perspectives of former Hampton Court House pupils, who returned to share their own journeys since leaving school and offer advice to those considering their next steps.

The Futures Fair was a tremendous success, providing students with meaningful conversations, practical advice and fresh inspiration for the future. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to making the event such a valuable and memorable experience for all involved.
