Magic Garden

The nursery children had a fantastic trip last Friday to the Magic Garden at Hampton Court Palace. They set off from school shortly after registration, walking sensibly across the green while excitedly sharing their own experiences of the Magic Garden. There was a real sense of anticipation for the big dragon!

Upon arrival and check-in, they headed straight to the play area, spending a delightful morning exploring and playing. The children thoroughly enjoyed climbing and sliding down the big green hills, zooming down the slides, balancing on the dragon’s back, and pumping water to fill the streams. They demonstrated great skill in carefully navigating over the rocks to avoid falling in. Teamwork and perseverance shone through as they took turns pushing each other on the roundabout. They were thrilled to spot one another from the tall bridges and the top of the giant hill.

At lunchtime, feeling quite hungry, they gathered for a picnic and continued their chatter about their favourite moments from the day. After their meal, they set off again for another couple of joyous, uninterrupted hours of play. The walk back to school was a much slower pace, filled with a lot of very tired children (and adults!).
