Our students took a giant leap into space with the WonderDome – an immersive planetarium experience that brought the universe right into school.
Stepping inside the dome, pupils were transported far beyond the classroom, exploring distant planets, marvelling at constellations and witnessing the life cycle of stars unfold above them. The experience offered a unique opportunity to deepen their understanding of space science, sparking curiosity and encouraging thoughtful questions about the mysteries of the universe.
The session wasn’t just visually spectacular, it was highly educational, linking closely with the science curriculum and helping students to grasp complex concepts in an engaging and memorable way. For many, it was their first time experiencing a planetarium, making it all the more special.
The visit felt particularly timely as we celebrated the safe and successful Artemis II mission, a reminder of the exciting future of space exploration. Moments like these help inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers and astronauts: today’s learners, tomorrow’s explorers.
