Easter Egg Hunt!

Posted: 2nd April 2026

The anticipation had been building all week at HCH, and by the time the Easter Egg Hunt finally arrived, Years 1 – 4 were buzzing with excitement. A much loved event in our school calendar, and this year, it certainly didn’t disappoint.

The Forest School was transformed into a magical wonderland. Hidden among trees, tucked behind logs, and peeking out from grassy corners were dozens of colourful Easter eggs, just waiting to be discovered. As pupils went off on their hunt, laughter and delighted shouts filled the air. Each egg felt like a treasure, and every child was determined to find just one more!

Then, as if by magic, a very special visitor appeared – the Easter Bunny! The Bunny brought even more excitement to the day, greeting the children and adding an extra sparkle to an already unforgettable experience.

Meanwhile, back in school, the celebrations continued as the older year groups also received delivered Easter treats during form time. It was a joyful, laughter-filled celebration and the perfect way to bring the term to a close. A huge thank you goes to the Friends, whose hard work and dedication made the event so special. Thanks to them, it was a truly memorable day that brought the whole HCH community together.
