Which Open Day?

As we are a school for all ages, it is preferable to come to an Open Day targeted at the right age group. We have four different open days:

  • One for the very youngest, looking to start school in Nursery, or Reception. These are usually mid-week in the afternoon.
  • One for the Lower Years (Years 1 to 4), which also takes place during the week.
  • The Middle and Upper Years open day (Years 5 to 10), usually a week day afternoon.
  • And finally one for the oldest students, looking to join the Sixth Form. These are held on a weekday evening.

What to expect on Open Days

Whichever open day you attend you will have the opportunity to meet teachers, the headmaster and current students. The events are informal, an opportunity to see if there is a meeting of minds and values, so please do ask questions throughout.

The open days all start with the opportunity to mingle with the teachers and ask any questions you may have about school life at Hampton Court House. This is followed by a short address from the Headmaster, and then by tours of the school led by either teachers or, more usually, current students. If the open day is during the school day you will have the opportunity to see lessons in progress.

After the tours you are welcome to return the Main Hall to discuss any further questions you may have with the teachers and the leadership team.

Parking is available on site.

We look forward to meeting you.
