Helen completed an MA in Music Education at UCL, PGCE at Roehampton University and an LTCL at Trinity College of Music. Previously she completed a BA (Hons) in Performing Arts. Helen has been Head of Music in five other schools in London and Valencia, Spain. In her spare time, she enjoys theatre, music, cooking, yoga and travel.
Helen is also the lead of the Senior Ensemble Club. Senior Ensemble is open to students in the senior school of Grade 2 standard and above, and offers a welcoming and inclusive opportunity to develop ensemble skills. The group currently includes a mix of instruments such as saxophone, violin, cello and flute and percussion, exploring a wide range of styles including jazz, film music and classical repertoire. Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays from 8:15–8:40am, providing a focused and enjoyable start to the day. Students also benefit from regular performance opportunities, including school recitals, Friday coffee mornings and the annual carol service.
