Aldevis Tibaldi


Position: Teacher of Saxophone

Teacher at HCH since 2009, Aldevis Tibaldi is a London-based Italian saxophonist, composer, and arranger, performing across the full saxophone family, clarinets, and flute. With four critically acclaimed albums as a leader, Tibaldi blends the rich traditions of jazz with a distinctive and nuanced voice that transcends cultural boundaries. 

Born and classically trained in Trieste, at the northeastern border of Italy, Tibaldi is well-acquainted with cultural intersections, borrowings, mixing, and cross-cultural exchanges. In addition to his role as a music educator, he has collaborated with numerous international artists from diverse genres, not always identifiable as jazz, performing in clubs and festivals throughout Europe. 

Tibaldi holds a Master of Music Degree from the Goldsmith College (London) and Master’s Degree in Political Science from Florence University .
