To fully appreciate the unique spirit of our Sixth Form, we warmly invite prospective students and families to explore our community and discover more about who we are and what we do.
Our Sixth Form private tours are a bespoke experience, reflecting the deeply individualised approach we take to education. The morning will begin with a personalised tour with our Admissions team, providing the ideal opportunity to tour our campus and meet key staff. Following this, you will have the opportunity to meet with our Head of Sixth Form, Tessa Bartholomew and Vice Principal Academic, Katy Deacon to discuss your ambitions, desired courses, ask any questions and gain insight into our award winning “Preparing for Life” Sixth Form programme. If you want to progress with your application, you will be invited to visit us again for a taster subject session in some of your chosen courses.

How to Apply (Current Students)
Our current Year 11 HCH students benefit from our understanding of their individual learning journey with HCH leading up to Sixth Form. This forms the basis of their meetings with our Head of Sixth Form and Vice Principal Academic, allowing them to determine with confidence which A-level courses will maximise their potential and opportunity for acceptance to their desired university. They will be sent an application form directly and are prioritised for entry into our “Preparing for Life” programme
How to Apply (New Students)
You can apply for entry to our Sixth Form by following these steps:
- Complete the online application form and the Registration Fee payment of £180 at the end of the form.
- Submit a copy of your passport (or proof of identity) and your most recent school report.
- Once we have received all required documentation, we will invite you to attend an interview with a member of our head of Sixth Form and Vice Principal Academic (for international applicants, this can be arranged online).
Entry Requirements
All Sixth Form offers are conditional on successful GCSE (or equivalent) results and subject‑specific achievement. We look for self‑motivated individuals who will thrive in our dynamic, high‑aspiration environment.
