Building Tomorrow Careers Fair

We are excited to throw open our doors to the local student community for the much-anticipated launch of the Building Tomorrow Careers Fair. This event aims to connect students with leading industry professionals, providing them with invaluable insights into potential career paths and helping them pave the way for a successful future.

Connecting Students with Professionals:

The Building Tomorrow Careers Fair is designed to bridge the gap between academia and the professional world. By bringing together accomplished individuals from various industries, the fair offers students the opportunity to explore a wide range of career options and gain first-hand knowledge from experts in their respective fields. Whether they aspire to be engineers, artists, entrepreneurs, or doctors, students can engage with professionals who can guide them on their chosen paths.

Main Hall, Session 1: Keynote Speaker Faye Barker, ITN (Media):

Faye Barker, a TV presenter and reporter at ITV News, will serve as the keynote speaker for the Building Tomorrow Careers Fair. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Barker is a familiar face in the world of media. She regularly presents ITV News bulletins at weekends, updates during Good Morning Britain, and the ITV News London updates. Barker’s extensive experience and expertise will provide students with valuable insights into the world of media and journalism.

Interactive Workshops and Seminars:

In addition to the keynote address, the fair offers a range of workshops and seminars conducted by industry leaders. Each session is hosted in specific rooms, where students can delve deeper into their areas of interest. For example, Room G1 will host David Little and Harrison Devaney from Bishop & Sewell, who specialize in Company and Commercial law. Room G2 will feature Antony Jancic, Co-Head of GCIB Credit at Bank of America, discussing finance-related topics. Other rooms will cover fields such as law, police, IT and consultancy services, armed services, advertising, art, sports, and career skills.

Exhibitors:

The Building Tomorrow Careers Fair will also feature exhibitors from various companies and educational institutions. Among the notable companies present are Bishop & Sewall, Met Police, JCDecaux (the world’s largest outdoor advertising corporation), British Army, and Accenture (a professional services company specializing in information technology services and consulting). Universities and further education colleges, such as UCFB, Keele, Plymouth, Bath, and Oxford Brookes, will also have representatives available to provide information and guidance to the students.

The launch of the Building Tomorrow Careers Fair at Hampton Court House School on the 6th of June, 2023, promises to be an event that will shape the future of its students. With a diverse range of speakers and exhibitors, the fair offers students an immersive experience to explore various career paths, gain insights from industry professionals, and make valuable connections.
