A Visit to Hampton Court Palace

Posted: 25th September 2025

Last week, Years 1 to 4 had a fantastic trip to Hampton Court Palace to bring the history of the British Royal family and London to life. They ventured through the palace, asked insightful questions and eagerly spotted the differences between Tudor kitchens and their own modern ones.

In workshops, the younger students explored replica objects, Tudor clothes, and even learned a Tudor dance, whilst older students uncovered the workings of the Tudor kitchens and what they reveal about life at court. It was a memorable and inspiring experience, showing just how valuable experiential learning is at HCH.
