Esther Arnott

Position: Teacher of English and History

Esther studied History and Anthropology as an undergraduate followed by a career in corporate PR in London. Finding that she missed academia, she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in the History of Medicine, followed by her PGCE.

Before joining Hampton Court House in 2024, Esther spent over a decade in a large school in west London where she was Head of Department and Director of Literacy. She then moved to work at Hampton School where she spent eight years, including time as Head of Department, while also working as a researcher for History Hit and completing a Masters in History.

Outside the classroom, Esther spends her time with family (usually standing pitch-side cheering on her son), walking her loveable dog, Benji, and working on her PhD.
