Ralitsa Naydenova

Ralitsa is a violinist/violist who grew up in Bulgaria where she gained her bachelor’s diploma. Ralitsa continued her higher education at the Royal Academy of Music (RAM), London.

During her studies at RAM, Ralitsa discovered her passion for the viola. She was awarded a full scholarship for the duration of three years, and continued with postgraduate studies in performance. Here she gained postgraduate diplomas on both instruments: the violin and the viola.

Ralitsa is passionate about solo, chamber and orchestral music. She has been a member of prize winning ensembles, giving many performances in numerous prestigious venues. She is a permanent member of a Veles Ensemble. Recently, Ralitsa recorded Bartok Viola Concerto with the Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Rossen Gergov.

As an orchestra player, Ralitsa has been a substitute player for some remarkable orchestras, such as, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Trondheim Symphony Orchestra and the Oslo National Opera.

For Ralitsa, her passion for music expands beyond playing, and continues into the educational sphere. Captivated by a love to teach, Ralitsa is dedicated to deliver knowledge to students who have a zest to learn.
