Over the past few weeks, our Performing Arts Drama lessons have taken an exciting step forward with the introduction of our brand-new Drama Studio—a dedicated space designed to support creativity, collaboration, and performance. This week, Year 10 students, guided by Ellie, our Director of Performing Arts, began devising an original piece as part of their GCSE Drama curriculum.
The session focused on developing ideas, building characters and working as a team to bring their concepts to life. It’s safe to say the students fully embraced their roles, showing imagination and a real enthusiasm for the creative process. We’re looking forward to seeing how work developing in the coming week.
