Year 12 student Isabella proudly represented our school in the 2026 Chinese Bridge Mandarin Speaking Competition for UK Schools. The prestigious national event attracted more than 70 schools and over 300 students from across the UK, bringing together young Mandarin learners to demonstrate their language skills and cultural understanding.
As part of the competition, Isabella delivered a speech exploring family values in the UK and China, offering thoughtful comparisons between the two cultures. Through her speech, Isabella demonstrated not only strong Mandarin speaking skills but also a genuine interest in cross-cultural understanding.
Her participation in such a competitive national event highlights the dedication and enthusiasm of our students in learning languages and engaging with global cultures. We congratulate Isabella on this fantastic achievement and commend her for representing the school with confidence and curiosity.
