PGL Adventure: A Week to Remember

Posted: 20th March 2026

Last week, Year 6 students embarked on an exciting residential trip to PGL, packed with challenge, adventure and plenty of memorable moments. The first two days were filled with a wide range of activities, from climbing and orienteering to abseiling and shelter building, keeping everyone fully engaged and eager to take on new experiences.

On the final day, the energy continued as students spent the morning refining their archery skills, aiming for the elusive bullseye, before taking to the air on the giant swing – an exhilarating way to round off the trip.

Throughout the visit, students demonstrated excellent teamwork, resilience and problem solving skills, supporting one another and embracing every challenge with enthusiasm. It has been a fantastic few days, with students growing in confidence and making lasting memories along the way. We imagine there were some very well-earned early nights last weekend!
