With the arrival of warmer weather, the children were eager to take their learning outdoors! Water play has provided rich opportunities for exploration and teamwork. Using jugs, funnels and pipes, the children experimented with pouring, filling and emptying, naturally beginning to understand concepts of capacity and volume.
It was especially lovely to see them working collaboratively – tilting the water tray to use every last drop and solving problems together as they played. These moments support not only early mathematical understanding but also Personal, Social and Emotional Development, as children learn to cooperate, negotiate and share ideas.
We are so proud of the children’s enthusiasm and growing confidence. Through play, exploration and conversation, they are building strong foundations for their future learning — and having lots of fun along the way!
