Last week, students in Years 10–13 from the French/FLAM option enjoyed an unforgettable trip to Paris, discovering the city’s sights and culture in a way that will inspire their study of French for years to come.
The visit was particularly valuable for those preparing for GCSE and A Level examinations, giving them the opportunity to speak French in real-life contexts
and deepen their cultural understanding.
During their stay, students visited the renowned Musée d’Orsay, to learn about famous works of art, witnessed the remarkable restoration of Notre-Dame Cathedral explored the historic district of Montmartre and visited the stunning Sacré-Cœur Basilica, enjoyed cruise along the Seine River and ventured underground to the fascinating Catacombs of Paris and of course, no trip to the French capital would be complete without visiting the iconic Eiffel Tower!
