An Adventure in Thailand

Posted: 15th August 2025

At the end of the summer term, ten students from Years 9–11 set off for Thailand on an unforgettable eight-day expedition. Based in the spectacular Krabi region, with its limestone cliffs, mangrove forests and turquoise seas, the group partnered with Nature Mind-ED to explore ecology, sustainability, mindfulness and adventure. Days were packed with activities ranging from rope climbing, bouldering, jungle trekking and kayaking, to coral reef research, mangrove conservation, village homestays and local cookery. Students were encouraged to embrace challenges, build resilience and reflect on what to let go and carry forward. The week was inspiring and demanding, leaving participants with new skills and lasting memories!
