Sam Isbell


Position: Art Technician

Sam grew up in Shropshire and holds both a BA (Hons) and MA in History of Art from the University of London. Before joining Hampton Court House, she worked with several leading cultural institutions, including The Wallace Collection, Tate, the National Galleries of Scotland, and Kingston University. Her roles spanned touring exhibitions, collections care, and educational programming – helping to make art more accessible and engaging for a wide range of audiences.

Alongside her work in museums and education, Sam is a practising artist with a particular focus on observational drawing. Her creative practice is informed by hands-on experience across a variety of media, including printmaking and ceramics.
