PA to Deputy Head

The Deputy Head is seeking a reliable personal assistant. The position offered is full-time (8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday) and will include a 3-week handover with the current PA. This is a full-time permanent position with an immediate start.

The PA will help with the day-to-day running of a busy and... innovative day school in southwest London and the right candidate will write well, have good IT skills, an excellent attention to detail, and be keen to learn and to try his or her hand at new things.

Teacher of Computer Science (part-time)

Hampton Court House is an all-through (3 to 18) independent school in southwest London. Situated in beautiful riverside parkland between Richmond and Hampton, the school was short-listed for Senior School of the Year at the 2020 TES Independent School Awards.

Hampton Court House has an established reputation... for computing and programming. Computing is taught as a specialist subject from Year 5. We seek an authoritative and enthusiastic computing specialist with the skill and personality to assist in the continuing development of the school’s computing and programming culture.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer science, some years’ experience of teaching this subject at A level and GCSE, and be open to learning and introducing emerging technologies to students. Candidates must be self-aware individuals with outstanding interpersonal skills, and able to inspire our boys and girls with a love of programming and computing.

The ideal candidate will have a wide range of interests, and be able to contribute to the high cultural and intellectual ethos of the school. All of our teachers are expected to contribute enthusiastically to the wider life of the school.

This position is a part-time (3.5 days a week) and permanent to start in September 2021.

Year 4 French Form Teacher

We seek an energetic and caring fluent French speaker (mother-tongue standard) to teach our Year 4 children. In the Lower Years (Years 1 to 4) the children experience a broad and lively academic curriculum including our French immersion programme. The Year 4 Form Tutor will teach mathematics and humanities... in French as well as taking the French lessons and will manage the daily routine of the class. The successful candidate will also teach the French programme to French speaking children.

We are looking for a well-qualified and experienced teacher of primary level children who will be able to inspire enthusiasm in our pupils and help to promote the high cultural and academic ethos of the School.

All our teachers are expected to contribute enthusiastically to the wider life of the school including running lunchtime and after school clubs, leading motivating assemblies, and organising meaningful workshops and trips.
