Part-Time English Teacher (Maternity Cover)

We are looking to appoint a positive, dynamic, enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher to join a highly successful English team and cover a period of maternity leave up to one year, with the possibility of exploring a more permanent role at the end of the period. This will be a part-time position with... a 0.6 timetable spread over the working week. It would particularly suit teachers looking for more flexible conditions to enable other activities such as personal tutoring.

Candidates should be comfortable teaching English from Year 7 to Year 13 and with delivering PSHEE. The successful candidate will be committed to the development of creative and engaging teaching and learning which will inspire our boys and girls with a lifelong love of literature and the English language.

We are looking for a well-qualified graduate, with a range of interests, who will be able to contribute to the ethos of the school. Applications are equally welcome from teachers with some years’ experience and from new entrants to the profession. All our teachers are expected to take part in the wider life of the school.

Part-time Teacher of Computer Science

Hampton Court House has an established reputation for computing and programming. Computing is taught as a specialist subject from Year 5.

We seek an authoritative and enthusiastic ICT and computing specialist with the skill and personality to assist in the continuing development of the school’s computing... and programming culture.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer science, be open to learning and introducing emerging technologies to students, must be a self-aware individual with outstanding interpersonal skills, and able to inspire our boys and girls with a love of programming and computing.

The position is up to 70% of full-time.

The ideal candidate will have a wide range of interests, and be able to contribute to the high cultural and intellectual ethos of the school. Applications are equally welcome from teachers with some years’ experience and from new entrants to the profession. All of our teachers are expected to contribute enthusiastically to the wider life of the school.
