Mandarin Teacher

Hampton Court House is situated opposite Hampton Court Palace, adjacent to Bushy Park. We are a fast-growing school, with pupil numbers increasing each year. The school occupies a three-hectare site within landscaped grounds. There are 250 pupils from pre-school to Year 13.

Our Sixth Form teaching is... scheduled between 1.30 pm and 7 pm to suit the circadian rhythm of adolescents in their late teens. Class sizes at A level are very small and our students are of a high calibre looking towards Oxbridge and other Russell Group universities.

We seek a charismatic communicator to teach Mandarin to Years 5 to 11, and to adults after school as part of our Form Seven programme. The successful candidate will be expected to design a programme to offer A level Mandarin in future years.

The position is to start at the beginning of the Spring Term (January 2020).

We are looking for well-qualified linguists, who will be able to inspire enthusiasm in our pupils and help to promote the high cultural and academic ethos of the school. All of our teachers are expected to contribute enthusiastically to the wider life of the School.
