At Hampton Court House, we believe that Music and the Performing Arts are essential to the development of confidence, creativity and individuality—central to our ethos of authentic self-expression.
We nurture students at all stages of their musical and artistic journeys, offering a rich and inclusive programme that encourages experimentation, play, and growth. From Early Years immersive French drama to advanced A-Level performances and music tech composition, creative expression is part of daily life.
Our students engage in an exciting range of opportunities including ensemble and solo performance, site-specific theatre productions, drama showcases, lunchtime concerts, and original music compositions using our state-of-the-art music technology suite. Whether performing in our “ice house” drum studio or co-creating full-scale productions, Courtiers are encouraged to express themselves bravely and collaboratively.
Instrumental and vocal tuition is available across a wide range of disciplines, delivered by passionate and highly skilled peripatetic teachers. Many students form bands, write their own material, and compose for live or digital performance. We celebrate both the process and the final piece, and our unique setting—with pianos throughout the school and daily performance opportunities—means that spontaneous creativity can flourish.
Music and the Performing Arts at HCH are for everyone. By encouraging participation across all ages and abilities, we cultivate not only talent but resilience, empathy, and joy. These are creative journeys that shape our students well beyond the classroom—and we are proud to be part of them
