Science Teacher with A level Physics

Hampton Court House is ranked number 3 on the Independent Schools Council’s table of ‘small independent schools’ and has been shortlisted for the TES Independent School Awards 2020 ‘senior school of the year’. Hampton Court House is a fast-growing co-educational independent school situated in beautiful riverside parkland between Richmond and Hampton in southwest London. The school has almost 300 pupils from Early Years through to Year 13.

We are seeking to appoint a part-time science teacher with some years’ experience or a full-time NQT to start in September. Well-qualified scientists are also welcome to apply. The role will include teaching GCSE and A level physics. Class sizes at A level are very small and our students are of a high calibre looking towards Oxbridge and other Russell Group universities. Hampton Court House is an all-through school and the opportunity to teach science across a number of other year groups may also be available.

The successful candidate will be able to inspire enthusiasm in our pupils and help to promote the high cultural and academic ethos of the School.

If you would like to discuss further details of the post, please contact the Head of Science, Abigail Howard, by email (anh@hchnet.co.uk) with ‘Science Teacher with A level Physics’ in the subject line.

Salary – negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications.
