The HCH Daily Doodle!

The fantastic HCH art department have been hard at work putting together a series of daily doodle challenges for families to complete together during this period of self-isolation and school closure. Why not have a go at today’s daily doodle with your family this evening? We will post a new one every day.

You can use any medium to create your doodle. Please email the final doodle to Rachel Bowles at
rcb@hchnet.co.uk each day to be included in our online gallery at https://www.hamptoncourthouse.co.uk/parents/coronavirus-situation/hampton-court-house-at-home/

What better way to start the weekend than with our HCH Daily Doodle Challenge?

Today’s doodle is inspired by American artist Saul Steinberg, who defined drawing as “a way of reasoning on paper”. Start with a single straight line and then imagine all the things that it might be…

Today’s challenge, inspired by German Dadaist artist Hannah Höch, is to create a collage from old newspapers or magazine photographs.

Today’s challenge is to create a photograph, painting or drawing of the first signs of spring from your garden, daily walk or window.

Today’s challenge is to create a drawing including some coloured pencil shavings.

Here are some great examples to inspire you!
