School and Early Years open as normal - See Coronavirus Situation.

The first day of term. Back together again!

It has been a fantastic first day of term at HCH as students and staff enjoyed coming together in the beautiful weather, getting to know new friends and colleagues and starting in new year groups. Our early years children had story time in the school grounds. Middle years and lower years have enjoyed their sports lessons in their brand new sports kit and our upper years and sixth form students have met their tutors and familiarised themselves with their GCSE and A level curriculum. The whole school enjoyed a picnic lunch together in the grounds courtesy of our wonderful chef, Junior. There have been ‘meet the tutors’ sessions for parents- providing an opportunity to ask all important start of term questions. Finally the whole school came together in the school theatre for an assembly with Headmaster, Adrian Rainbow. Adrian was inspirational as he told the school of his journey and background; from encountering bears in his back garden in Canada when he was a boy, to the endless hours of practise and determination required in his professional football career.
What has been most important today is that we are back together again, sharing wonderful experiences and inspirational lessons in our beautiful building and grounds.
