The school has some lovely acting spaces both within the building and around our grounds. Our largest auditorium was once a local theatre in its own right (previously used by the Teddington Theatre Club) and we aspire to sustain this tradition and develop a thriving acting community.

Acting is a challenge to the memory and an aid to developing self-confidence, personality and imagination. Theatre productions are an excellent means of motivating young people for medium term goals through rehearsal and preparation and of creating a sense of occasion and excitement on the night.

Plays are produced each term and involve children of all ages. We have remarkable experience of staging fully-fledged plays even with young children. Recent productions with have included The Bacchae, Oedipus Rex, Romeo and Juliet, Lord of the Flies, The Barber of Seville, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Hay Fever and The Crucible.
