Joiners’ Information

We are delighted to welcome both you and your children to Hampton Court House.
I would like to introduce you to the form tutors for the Middle Years:

Sam DykesBSc
  • Year 5 Form Tutor

Francesca SimkinBA MPhil PhD
  • Year 6 Form Tutor

Tom CleryMA PGCE BA
  • Year 7 Form Tutor

Laura WilliamsMA PGDip
  • Currently on Maternity Leave

Your children will register with their form tutors every morning and afternoon, and school notices come through them. The form tutor is your key point of contact with the school and will be able to resolve any straightforward enquiries about a disciplinary, homework or academic matter, or a concern about student welfare.

The Joiners’ Booklet contains a lot of useful information, but here are a few highlights particular to the Middle Years
here is no uniform for children; however we would like the children to be dressed conservatively.

Boys
dark trousers or jeans
cotton shirt or polo shirt
pullover or cardigan
navy tracksuit (only to be worn on the day of sports lesson)
leather shoes
white trainers
long sleeved waterproof apron

Girls
dress, skirt or trousers
blouse
pullover or cardigan
navy tracksuit (only to be worn on day of sports lesson)
leather shoes
white trainers
long sleeved waterproof apron

We request that your children do not have bright or large logos or cartoon designs on any of the clothes they wear to school. It is a good idea for all clothes to have name tags. A change of clothes is also an advisable insurance against the unpredictability of British weather.
