Charity is the School Project Manager at Place2Be and joined our counselling team in 2022. Place2Be is a children’s and young people’s mental health charity with almost 30 years’ experience working with pupils, families and staff across the UK. At Place2Be we provide a safe space – the Place2Be room – where children can express their feelings through talking, creative work and play.
Place2Be works with children and young people one-to-one and in small groups, offering regular timetabled support for those who will benefit most. All pupils can find help with friendship issues and other worries through the service Place2Talk, which offers short lunchtime sessions to individuals and groups.
Place2Be also supports teachers and school staff members to think through the emotional needs of children via Place2Think, which helps the whole school to thrive.
