Middle Years Fancy Dress Disco Party

On Wednesday 18 October at the end of the school day, pumpkins, spiders, rats and bats invaded the conservatory and the theatre, while the Middle Years children morphed into monsters, zombies, ghosts and other scary creatures. They boogied through the evening as phantom skeletons were dancing on the wall to the beat of the Fancy Dress Disco Party. The homemade nibbles, themed on Halloween, were colourful and plentiful to the delight of all the children (and adults!).

One of the highlights of the evening was the costume competition where the pupils strutted their way from one side of the theatre to the other under the attentive eye of the judges. Ivan from Year 6 with his homemade cane and his ghoulish make-up was the clear winner of the competition. There is no doubt that the event – organised by the Friends and staff of HCH – was a great success.
