Sarah CelardBA MA PhD

Sarah was born in London and grew up in Geneva, where she received a bilingual education.
After graduating from Cambridge University with a BA Hons in Classics, she completed an MA and a PhD in Art History at the Courtauld Institute of Art, University of London. Sarah then worked as a museum consultant before joining the civil service, where she held a variety of managerial positions. More recently, she was head of the volunteering service at King’s College Hospital, London, and head of membership at the National Portrait Gallery. Sarah then decided to take five years off work to focus on her two young children. The experience captured her interest in primary education.

Since joining Hampton Court House, Sarah has held the role of Year 1 Teaching Assistant and Year 1 Form Tutor. She also teaches History of Art.

In her spare time, Sarah is an avid reader and enjoys visiting museums and discovering new places with her family.
