Rosie Parker

  • Voice

Rosie is a versatile singer, specialising in consort and small-group ensemble singing, and occasionally moonlighting on the jazz and pop stage. She attended the University of York, where she studied History of Art as an undergraduate, before moving on to a Masters in Solo Voice Ensemble Singing under Robert Hollingworth. During her Masters, Rosie participated in the prestigious Genesis Sixteen programme, and held a Choral Scholarship at York Minster – the first woman ever to do so. Following a Lay Clerkship at Peterborough Cathedral, she moved to London in September 2018 to pursue her singing career on home turf.

Rosie has performed as a soloist nationally and internationally; her extensive consort and choral singing has taken her to Hong Kong, China, Mexico and throughout Europe, and she has sung and recorded with groups including Voces8, I Fagiolini, Polyphony, Shards, Chamber Choir of London and SANSARA, with upcoming engagements with both The Sixteen and Stile Antico. She combines singing with her other two great loves: drawing and cooking.
