Liz studied French at the University of St Andrews and then qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Edinburgh and, after gaining chartered status, moved and worked in Hong Kong. Upon her return to the UK, she worked as an accountant for several years before having a career break to look after her three children.

Liz is returning to us after working here as a previous Bursar. While here, she became very interested in education and left to embark on a career in learning support. She gained the Level 5 Certificate in Teaching Children with Learning Difficulties and worked as a Learning Support Assistant for two independent primary schools, where she took a particular interest and was awarded qualifications in the field of Dyscalculia. Liz has also taught literacy and numeracy for a charity supporting adult learners.
