Lisa Beckley

Lisa began her musical career as a choral bursar in the choir of Keble College, Oxford, while studying Chemistry.

She specialises in consort singing, and enjoys a varied career, singing internationally for many of Britain’s leading ensembles, including The Sixteen, The King’s Consort, The English Concert, The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, The Oxford Camerata, The Cardinall’s Musick, The Academy of Ancient Music, and Britten Sinfonia. She has an extensive discography as part of these groups, most notably appearing as the soloist on the best-selling Naxos recording of Fauré’s Requiem (her Pie Jesu was featured in the Hollywood film ‘Broken Flowers’).

As well as her teaching at Hampton Court House, she holds teaching positions at Tiffin School, Tiffin Girls’ school and St Paul’s Girls’ School in Hammersmith, as well as coaching the trebles at All Saints Church Kingston.
