Jacqueline studied marine biology at Bangor University and went on to work for conservation projects in Bermuda and Indonesia. She then taught English as a Foreign Language in Singapore, before deciding to return home to pursue a career in education.
After gaining her PGCE from Bristol University, Jacqueline taught biology for a number of years in Dorset, before moving to London and a job in the education department of Kew Gardens.

More recently, she has been teaching in Primary Education, with a particular focus on English and outdoor learning. A strong believer in an holistic approach to teaching, Jacqueline qualified as a forest school leader last year. She loves to use nature and the outdoor world to inspire children, incorporating drama, art and story telling into her lessons.

In her spare time, Jacqueline enjoys dancing, walking in woods and reading.
