George grew up and was educated in London, then completed his B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the University of Oxford, with a particular focus on political theory. On graduating he worked as Lead Tutor of Maths and Economics at Blythe Hall School, a specialised one-to-one school, working with both transitional students and those who flourished in a long term, individually focused environment. George then spent three years at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, training as an accountant with a focus on the Lloyd’s of London insurance market.

George returned to academia as a step towards reentering the teaching profession, completing a B.Sc. in Physics with Astrophysics at the University of Bristol. Before joining Hampton Court House he trained as a Teacher of Physics at Dulwich College, on their SCITT program. His interests include astronomy, cooking, and travel, and he will never turn down a quiz.
