Hampton Court House is committed to Outdoor Learning. The school supports a programme of day trips, activities days, programmes and residential trips. We are also keen to foster a sense that outside the classroom learning is started, propagated, engendered but definitely not where it ends. This is where regardless of ability a lot of students’ best quality active learning and academic retrieval occurs. Many of the fondest memories of school are from trips and other extra-curricular programmes. We aim to inspire the students to gain that certain spark of ingenuity and intelligence which really sets a student ahead in the world of work. In school we have a thriving Young Enterprise scheme and we also run the hugely popular Duke of Edinburgh award.

We have three different types of residential trips:

Form Trips

Every Year from Year 5 have the chance to go as a form group on a short residential trip.

Language Trips

These are namely the Year 10 French Trip , Year 5/6 French Trip, and the Year 11 Spanish Trip.

Special Trips

These are trips that may run once or twice a year. They include trips that draw on curriculum from a number of subjects, for example the Bay of Naples Trip.
