Ethos & Aims

This is a statement of the ethos and aims of the Parent Teacher Association of Hampton Court House to be known as Friends.

All HCH parents/guardians are welcomed and automatically included in this body.

The friends are a voluntary group of parents and teachers who wish to engage fully with the school and who wish to support the school and help to enhance and enrich it.

To help build a social and community based spirit for both parents and students.

To organise social events and encourage parents, students and others associated with the School to support these events. Friends are always delighted to see new members and welcome their ideas and input.

These events should be open to families and friends and the wider community.

We aim to help raise funds for general and specific school projects.

The Organising Committee shall be appointed at the main AGM to be held at the beginning of January each year and serve until the next AGM. This will comprise of a Chair, a Secretary, a Treasurer and an Executive Committee of approximately 5 or 6 members.

Plans for fundraising and future spending of funds will be discussed at the beginning of each Autumn Term and dates will be added to the 2012 Almanack.
