About Hampton Court House
Hampton Court House is an independent co-educational school. We currently take children from Nursery (three-and-a-half year olds) to Year 11 (sixteen year olds). All students are prepared for 13+ Common Entrance and/or scholarship examinations of the leading boys’ and girls’ schools, although most children elect to stay on to take their GCSEs at Hampton Court House.
Inspiring assemblies after lunch in The Main Hall
Hampton Court House is situated in its own private parkland, a 30 to 40 minute drive from Central London or a 35 minute train journey from Waterloo Station.
The most important thing to us is that children enjoy being here and that they look forward each day to coming to school. We want to lay the foundations of a lifelong love of learning.
Words and pictures can only give a very limited idea of what we are about. The best way to get a clearer picture of Hampton Court House is by visiting us and talking to pupils and staff, or sitting in on lessons. The school hums with life and laughter.
We believe that children need some (guided) freedom in order to develop their own style with taste and discretion. Pupils and staff have mutual respect for each other. The staff, including the Headmaster, are addressed by their first names, without fuss and with no sense of disrespect. Whilst there is a dress code, there is no uniform.
