History

Thomas was born in London and went on to study History at the University of Swansea. After graduating he worked as an English teacher in northern Spain for one year, before returning to the United Kingdom to work for a media production company. In 2010 he decided to pursue a career in education, spending over two years teaching History and English at a secondary school in South Korea, before returning to the United Kingdom in 2012 to complete a PGCE. He then went on to teach History at Dr Challoner’s Grammar school in Buckinghamshire, before joining Hampton Court House.

Successfully conveying ideas and stimulating his students to think about and understand the importance and value of History, gives Thomas great personal satisfaction. His main interests include reading, cycling, rugby and travelling.
