Graham Ainge MSc PGCE

Year 11 Form Tutor

Graham was born and raised in the Derbyshire countryside before attending Oakham School, Rutland. After leading school trips to the Outer Hebrides, he decided to read Biology at Bristol University – the highlight being a conservation expedition to Hawaii. A passionate musician from a young age, Graham then spent 3 years in a band where he played keyboard, guitar and vocals.

After moderate success through a record deal and touring the UK (followed by a brief stint in sales), Graham sought to renew his love for science. He studied for a Master’s degree in Environmental Bioscience at Warwick University, followed by extending his chemistry knowledge at Reading.

Graham recently gained his PGCE in Secondary Science from St. Mary’s University in Twickenham before joining Hampton Court House. A keen sportsman since his school days, Graham enjoys playing rugby and hockey, interspersed with some mixed netball and e-sports.
