Children in Reception make Carrot Muffins

Reception discussed healthy food, talking about the vegetables they like and which ones they would try. The children also thought about how to incorporate more vegetables in their diet, and made their own gluten free carrot muffins.

They took in turns to measure out ingredients, tasting along the way and stirring the mixture. They enjoyed their cooked cupcakes at afternoon break and took some home to share with family and friends.
